My cousin Lauren got married on October 22, 2016. We’ve always been best friends, so to see her get married on a beautiful fall day was amazing. The weather was perfect, and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky (although it was insanely foggy all morning which made it a little terrifying driving to her house on the highway!) Check out some photos of the beautiful bride and her special day below!
Lauren showing us her wedding dress before we leave to go to the church. I loved the sleeves on her dress. It reminds me of a very vintage style gown, and it totally suits her style.
From Left: Lauren’s sister’s Rachelle, Alex, myself, and our friend Krystal who flew in from B.C. We took a few photo ops while Lauren and Corey took wedding photos!
This was what the reception looked like at Hawthorne Estates. If you haven’t been, it’s a gorgeous barn filled with vintage furniture and decor. It’s the perfect place for a wedding, and I loved the rustic vibes!
Me, Krystal, and Lauren snapping a pic before dinnertime. We’ve known each other since high school, so it only made sense to get a selfie on that day!
Lauren and I have known each other for 25 years. This picture might seem lame, but we linked pinkies when we were having dinner because this was such an important moment in her life. The bracelet I’m wearing was our bridesmaids gifts from Lauren.
After dinner, Lauren and Corey started a bonfire. It was perfect to sit around with a drink and relax. They gave their guests little packages of s’mores as wedding favours. I loved the string lights hung around the fire!
Later on in the evening, Lauren and Corey did a sparkler sendoff. All of the guests crowded around the walkway leading up to the barn, and held up sparklers while the photographer took pictures. I thought this was such a cool idea, and really wanted to capture the moment! It was a great way to cap off the day.
